Starting in June 2016, our entirely redesigned exhibition area displays the touching 149-year old history of the company, from 1876 to date, in five beautifully decorated rooms. Historical packaging, cans and advertising material, from around the founding year 1880, can be discovered and admired in various showcases. We also provide a look into the manufacturing of our products and make the visitors familiar with the different ingredients of our products. Displays give the visitors an interesting and exclusive historical overview of the company.

Informative movies about the company history, the manufacturing of Berggold’s famous “jelly bananas“, as well as the whole production starting from the cocoa bean through to chocolate are shown to all interested visitors.

A visit of our exhibition including an explanatory tour can be realised from Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 3.30 PM for groups of minimum 6 persons. Admission fee per person: 1.50 €.

Complement your visit by tasting of our freshly prepared products. After visiting the exhibition, both young and old chocolate connoisseurs may have a closer look in our factory outlet on the opposite side.

It is not possible to give you a tour through the production room due to hygienic reasons. Therefore we thank you for your understanding.
