Whistleblower Protection Act (HinSchG) – “Whistleblowing”
Through our reporting system, you can quickly and easily report concerns about misconduct that affect our company, the well-being of employees, and third parties.
The whistleblowing system must not be used for false accusations, and knowingly reporting false information is prohibited.
We encourage you to provide your name when submitting a report. However, you are also free to submit reports anonymously.
All reports are strictly confidential and subject to data protection regulations.
Who can report? Purpose? (§ 1 HinSchG)
This law regulates the protection of natural persons who, in connection with their professional activities or in the lead-up to such activities, obtain information about violations and report or disclose them to the designated reporting offices under the law.
What can be reported? (§§ 2, 3 HinSchG)
Violations of criminal laws (any criminal provision under German law), violations that may result in fines (e.g., health and safety regulations, notification, permission, inspection, appointment, training, documentation, and reporting obligations, violations related to anti-money laundering or product safety, etc.).
How can reports be made?
Reports can be made anonymously or non-anonymously, orally (by phone), in person, or in writing:
